Babe Lab Mascot -- pass 2

Yes, this is working better, though I may mess with the angle on that cannister so that negative area next to the head isn't so uniform...

...liiike so.

Cool! Much better angle.

Feels like you could get some good negative space to better describe her legs if you moved her calves apart a bit.

There's a slight disconnect between her upper and lower halves right now. It's mainly perspective, her lower body is kind of large right now. She's so hipsy, it's a cool look but it makes her upper body feel too small when the camera is at this angle. With a down shot like this you could get away with some awesome pushed perspective, even going as far as making it look like you're viewing it through a fish-eye lense to really make it pop!

This image is getting better and better, keep it up! :D

That would certainly help eliminate that ugly tangent I made next to her left elbow. Again, good suggestion.

Good concept Paul. I like both versions, the standing up and this new pushed perspective one. If you want to use this image as a iconic piece of "branding" for the new blog I almost wish you'd go super simple and readable. Take a cue from our good friend J.C.

[jots down] "Beee....as good...as...Leyendecker."

Hahah, maybe I'll try a version that's creatively cropped like this. Really, all that's important is above her waist. And the girl in the cannister.

So hey, you gonna hook me up with some content for Babe Lab, Mr. Rams? That tutorial on the shoulder girdle would be hella sweet...

I really like the dimension in this. She feels really solid. There is an overlaping of shapes that I think got lost in the finish?
