lifedrawing log - 09.05.12

In the Fight Against Flatness, a battle I wage daily, I'm discovering planes play a greater role than I'd given them credit for.  Here's a not-terrible technique : Once you've found ONE plane that's tilted away from the light, find at least TWO MORE INSTANCES of that plane elsewhere on the body, giving each the same value.  Often, there'll be many more of these "sister planes", and you'll quickly notice the unity produced by this less random approach to rendering.  Nothing happens in isolation!
